Is constipation “normal” for you? Regular dailybowel movements are a sign of a healthy gut and a happy body. Constipation is not normal, and it’s not merely uncomfortable. In fact, it can be downright dangerous.

Our body removes waste through stool, along with toxins, cholesterol and excess hormones. If we don’t successfully eliminate these substances every day, they become reabsorbed, making us quite toxic. Being constipated can also lead to further complications like hemorrhoids, hiatal hernia and varicose veins.

And the most notable immediate reasons to want to have a good bowel movement… Constipation makes us uptight, gassy, and bloated.
